Yesterday (9/9/07) we used the family communion liturgy that I discussed in my previous post. It seemed to turn out well–people picked up the music quickly, didn’t stumble on the liturgy’s words, and didn’t throw rotten vegetables in protest of theological transgressions. Of course, there were some logistical and editorial snafus, as can be expected with the maiden voyage of anything like this. But overall it seemed like a success. Listen to the recording of the gathering or communion sections of yesterday’s service and feel free to email me with suggestions for improvements.
