The Michigan Department of Corrections Parole Board has determined the following regarding Troy Rienstra’s parole: “The majority of the Parole Board has no interest in taking action at this time. Your case will be reviewed as required by law. Next Interview Scheduled: 1/25/2016.”
Leaders in the Michigan non-profit public policy group CAPPS (Citizens Alliance on Prisons and Public Spending) have assured Troy’s supporters that they will continue to provide assistance on Troy’s behalf and ask us to join with them in working to reform policies and laws.
If you agree that Michigan’s excessive use of punitive strategies has drained the state’s budget and has impacted the quality of life for many citizens, please send an e-mail to Rich Rienstra (richrienstra@hotmail.com) to receive more information about how to become involved.
